GENERAL MANAGEMENT

WHY SHOULD I INTRODUCE GPS INTO MY BUSINESS

Cost Saving &  Efficiency -  in most instances cost saving gained by efficiency and  organisation ability well and truly cover the cost of running a GPS system.

Health & Safety - the introduction of the "Health and Safety Reform Act" - introduces the concept of PCBU (Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking) - every business should take measures for Health and Safety and establish records for audit purposes of Vehicle provision, use and staff care. See Worksafe information.

  1. Q.   Can I purchase Hardware at installation & how does the price compare with other providers?

    1.   Yes, “GPS New Zealand” Hardware prices are equal to, if not better than, most other providers.

  1. .  How will the introduction of GPS affect your staff - the trust question?

  1. The question of trust has become very secondary due to the new responsibilities under the "Health and Safety Reform Act" - the introduction and installation of the system is ALMOST a requirement of a diligent company and in fact the benefit is for both Employee and Employer.

“GPS New Zealand” WILL SUPPLY THE DOCUMENTATION FOR AN ADD-ON TO YOUR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT, (see sample) if required, plus "PRIVACY PROTECTION AGREEMENTS" (see sample).

“GPS New Zealand” will also supply a letter of introduction of the system to staff by a "PERSONAL LETTER"   - (see sample) and or by Group Meetings at your premise if required.

  1. Ownership of Equipment?

  1. Due to ever evolving Technology systems and Electronic Hardware and the need to keep up with cutting edge Service, “GPS New Zealand” suggest that Electronic Hardware units are leased thus not exposing clients to replacement costs to keep up with the advancement. This does however raises the 64k question, will the continued cost of the lease out strip the cost of the upfront purchase?  Unfortunately that question is simply unanswerable, we would like to think that leasing will never be greater than the cost of upfront purchase, the one sure thing however, is that the capital outlay to get Leasing started is minuscule compared to upfront purchases.

  1.     What is the start-up Cost?

    1. The minimum initial cost is 1 months payment of the “GPS New Zealand” Plan you select,  per vehicle.  The initial payment is made upon confirmation of order.

  1. Q.  Who pays the installation cost?

    1. This is negotiated on a per client basis. Factors like volume, term of lease contract and the manner in which the physical installation is organised are taken into account.

  1. Q.  What about coverage - outage?

    1. There are still small areas of outage within New Zealand (mostly remote) however it's the same for all providers as the same transmitting satellites and cell towers are used. When a vehicle is run through an outage area our system will still record the travel route and can be retrieved through the reporting system.

  1. Q.   What benefits does “GPS New Zealand” offer v/s other suppliers

Some systems are top heavy with too many Bells and Whistles, some even gimmicks. “GPS New Zealand” certainly has Bell and Whistles however they are all there for REAL FUNCTIONALITY, THEY
